Our Pastor - Bishop Dr. George B. Jackson

George Bernard Jackson is the youngest son of the late Dr. William T. and Pearlena M. Jackson of Salisbury, North Carolina. He was born on March 20, 1962 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He is a 1980 graduate of Chester Senior High School in Chester, South Carolina. He attended North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Jackson received the Master of Divinity degree with honors in May 1996 from Shaw Divinity, Raleigh, NC. He later received the Doctor of Ministry degree from Friends International Christian University, Merced, California in October 1998. Jackson also received the Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care, May 2009, Gardner-Webb University, Boiling Springs, NC. Jackson was consecrated as Bishop in June, 2008.

Jackson is the founding Pastor/CEO of Citadel of Faith Christian Fellowship, Thomasville, NC. He is the presiding prelate of Citadel Ministries International, Thomasville, NC. He has been in ministry for 30 years and the pastoral ministry for 29 years. He is the founder and president of United Cornerstone University, 2005. A community activist, Jackson is founder and chairman of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Social Action Committee.

He has dedicated this labor of love to the edifying of God’s people and building the cherished, "Beloved Community." He comes today with his helpmeet the lovely Bishop Dr. Pamela Stanfield Jackson. They are building a legacy for eight children and five grandchildren.

 

Bishop Dr. Pamela S. Jackson

Pamela (Pam) S. Jackson is an ordained elder of Citadel of Faith Christian Fellowship (CFCF), Thomasville, NC. Jackson has a BA in Business Information Technology from Winston-Salem State University. She has a MBA in Leadership (2010) and a Doctorate in Business Administration Leadership (2018), Walden University. Jackson received the Master of Divinity in Preaching from United Cornerstone School of Divinity (UCSoD) in July, 2014, with a thesis entitled, “Are African American Women Accepted in the 21st Century Pulpit?” Jackson was one of the first to receive a DMin (Pastoral Care) United Cornerstone University, August 2019, Doctoral Study entitled, "African American Millennials Church Experience".  Dr. Jackson is professionally employed by Herbalife International in Winston-Salem, NC, as a Senior Applications Technology Analyst. Jackson is Dean of Church Business Systems at United Cornerstone University (UCU). She teaches in-house and online instruction. Pam is happily married to her best friend and pastor, Dr. George B. Jackson and they are the parents of eight children, and five grandchildren.

Dr. Jackson founded Pureheart Ministries in 1999 and Pureheart Publishing in 2013. Jackson authored and published her first book entitled “Pureheart – Seven Keys to Wholeness” in 2013. Jackson’s second book “Women Preachers in the 21st Century Pulpit” was published in 2014 and became a course offered at UCSoD in the Fall, 2014. Her ministry vision is to uplift, encourage, motivate, cultivate, instruct, and equip God’s people to prosper in every area of their lives. “He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false; He will receive blessing from the Lord (Psalm 24:4-5).
